Blessed are the things brought forth by God. Mt. Zion Economic Community Center, Inc. is just that. This wonderful facility began as vision from God to Reverend Benton Thompson. A loyal servant of God, Benton Thompson, knew he had no choice but to do all he could to bring forth the center.  Pastor Thompson was obedient to God.  The Business Plan was approved by God then the Bank.  No grant was received to build the center, all he had was FAITH.

 

Benton Thompson took that vision and presented to the members of  the Mt. Zion Church. He and his wife, Janice Thompson, stepped out on faith and began to take the steps necessary to build the Mt. Zion Economic Community Center Inc. into what it is today.

 

The vision to build Mount Zion Economic Community Center, Inc. was given by God to Pastor Thompson, in 2001. Mount Zion had no start up money and no land to build the center, but God had it all.

Construction began October 2007.  Construction was completed and ribbon was cut on August 15, 2008.

Currently serving 40 to 45 Elderly & Disabled Citizens 5 days per week.

39 Employees own and operate 29 Transportation Vehicles providing transportation to Doctor Appointment, Pick Up Medication, Recreation, Grocery Shopping and more.
